Hooray!!! An Award!

The Super Duper Sweet Blogging Award no less! I am quite sure my mother, my siblings, and my children will be astounded to hear that I have won the sweet-anything award. My grandchildren will not be surprised at all, but they are very intelligent children. I really was flattered to be chosen. Peer recognition is always a wonderful thing, and recognition from complete strangers is sweet indeed. So, to the rules.

1) Thank the Super Sweet Blogger who nominated you

Ittymac. http://ittymac.wordpress.com/2013/04/25/for-the-sake-of-the-game/ Who writes what I would write if I were smarter. Her well worded and insightful stories strike a chord that resonates within me. She has great clarity. I am extremely glad that she stumbled across my blog and, by her insightful comments, brought herself to my attention. The first thing I read on her blog, a piece called, “For the Sake of the Game” caused me to immediately hit the ‘follow’ button. I didn’t want her to get away.

2. Answer five super sweet questions: The 5 sweet Questions are:

  • Cookies or Cake?     Which one is chocolate?
  • Chocolate or Vanilla?     Chocolate (this should be moot, considering above answer)
  • Favorite Sweet Treat?     Ice Cream (can you guess what flavor?)
  • When do you crave Sweet Things the most?     right before bed
  • Sweet Nick Name?     Witchyluck. Coined by a friend years ago to describe a peculiar type of serendipity that has plagued me most of my life.

3. Include the Super Sweet Blogging award image in  your blog post

4. Nominate a baker’s dozen (12) other bloggers

I’m not going to do reviews. I’d tell you why, but it’s a secret. 😉 I’m going to try to do this as links. God alone knows how well that will work. I tend to be technologically challenged.

There they are. The ‘Dirty Dozen’. If you’re interested in what I read, give them a look. I’ve still got to go around passing out cupcakes.

Boy, you’re fast! Or maybe I’m just really, really slow! Thank you so much for your kind words. Receiving positive feedback from peers is a real high, isn’t it? Your links worked perfectly! I’ve already visited them all! This has been a real boost for me. I must have needed affirmation that I’m heading in the right direction more than I knew!

Thank you. I do try to be prompt. Especially with things I can do from my chair. The whole things was kinda fun, and yes, the affirmation is lovely. My links were a mix of longtime friends and my first “followers”. The whole thing was rather fun. I’m glad you included me.

I know smart people who are aware of my level of technical ineptitude. 😉 You are welcome to the mention. Please feel free to play along. Give 12 other people a boost.
